Just follow these easy steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cut the squash in half, lengthwise and scoop out the seeds with a spoon. If desired, you can season the cut side of the squash with a little olive oil, salt and pepper before baking it.<\/li>\n<li>Place the cut side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 400\u00b0F \/ 200\u00b0C until tender (between 30-50 minutes, depending on the size and water content). Baking it with the cut side down allows some of the excess moisture to escape and run off. You\u2019ll know that the squash is done, when you are able to easily pierce the baked spaghetti squash with a fork or if it gives a little when squeezed with an oven mitt.<\/li>\n<li>Let the spaghetti squash cool for a few minutes, then take a fork and scrape the squash to remove flesh in long strands-like spaghetti. So easy!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Is the spaghetti squash skin edible?<\/h2>\n<p>Yes, the skin of spaghetti squash is edible, since technically all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eatingwell.com\/can-you-eat-squash-skin-8350325\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">winter squash skin is edible<\/a> (it&#8217;s a question of texture). However, unlike some squash that have a tender skin when baked, it becomes quite tough, making the experience less pleasurable. So in this case, I would say no.
