A quick and easy matcha porridge recipe made with oats, oat milk and matcha powder. A healthy vegan recipe that is loaded with fibre and antioxidants.

1/2cupwater(125 ml)
1cupoat milk(250 ml)
1teaspoonmatcha powder
1cupfine-cut oats(100 g)
pinchof salt,
1-2teaspoonspure maple syrup,plus more to serve

Method
In a small saucepan, add the water, milk and matcha, whisk together until combined. Add oats, plus a small pinch of salt and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Then reduce the heat to medium to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and have absorbed most of the liquid, about 5 minutes. Or until the oatmeal has reached your desired consistency.
Stir in maple syrup, to taste.
Serve in bowls and garnish with your favourite toppings, plus a little more maple syrup, if desired. Enjoy!
Notes
I also like to make this using a mix of fine cut oats and 6-grain oats (2:3 ratio).
The oats can can also be replaced with an equal amount of Bio Zarte Basis Müsli (Bauck).
